Governance Mandate
Public trust requires institutional discipline.
Standards must travel with the institution as it grows.
Morganable operates across journalism, research, data, intelligence and emerging computational systems. Each discipline requires standards appropriate to its methods, evidence and risks.
Governance therefore cannot be reduced to a single editorial policy. It must establish how claims are supported, how evidence is preserved, how independence is protected, how uncertainty is disclosed, how errors are corrected and who remains accountable when systems or people fail.
The purpose is not to create the appearance of compliance. It is to make standards visible, usable and capable of constraining institutional behaviour when convenience would otherwise favour a weaker outcome.

The appropriate burden differs across journalism, research, data and intelligence, but Morganable’s institutional standard should always ask what supports a claim and how that support can be examined.

Correction & Revision Architecture
Accountability continues
after publication.
Different forms of Morganable work require different forms of remediation. A corrected article, revised dataset and amended intelligence assessment should not all be treated identically.

Corrections, clarifications, updates and editor’s notes should make material changes visible when appropriate.

Research may require corrections, methodological amendments, revised findings or explicit withdrawal of unsupported conclusions.

Dataset revisions should preserve versions, change histories and enough documentation to understand what changed.

Assessments should be capable of revision when new evidence materially strengthens, weakens or overturns earlier judgement.

Computational assistance does not reduce Morganable’s duty to correct inaccurate or misleading public outputs.

Computational Governance
Automation does not inherit accountability.
Morganable may use computational and AI-assisted systems to support research, analysis, data processing, knowledge discovery or production.
Institutional responsibility nevertheless remains with Morganable and the accountable human processes governing the final use of those systems.

Morganable should not represent a control as operational, audited or independently certified unless that status has actually been achieved and can be evidenced.
