How Morganable Organises Work
The form should follow the institutional purpose.
Morganable does not place every substantial piece of work into a single undifferentiated portfolio. The appropriate institutional form depends on the problem being addressed, the duration of the work, the expected outputs and whether the work is intended to persist beyond an individual publication cycle.
Programmes provide continuity. Projects pursue bounded objectives. Series build depth across multiple publications. Observatories and enduring assets maintain persistent evidence, monitoring or knowledge infrastructure.

Observatories, governed datasets, archives and other enduring assets are treated differently from time-bounded projects. They require stronger lifecycle governance, versioning, provenance, maintenance and explicit decisions about maturity, supersession or retirement.

Some questions cannot be responsibly explained in a single publication. Morganable series allow journalism, analysis and research to return to a subject over time, introduce new evidence and develop a fuller public record.
A series may be finite or continuing, but it remains an editorial or research sequence rather than becoming a programme merely because it contains multiple pieces.
