Purpose
Morganable’s Editorial Standards define how we gather, verify, produce, label, update and correct journalism. They apply to news reports, features, analysis, explainers, opinion pieces, interviews, multimedia content and other editorial material published by Morganable.
Fairness and Right of Reply
Where serious allegations are made, reasonable effort should be made to seek comment from affected parties before publication, or to explain why that was not possible.
Sourcing and Attribution
Sources should be identified clearly where possible. Anonymous sources should be used only when there is a strong editorial reason and the information is judged credible.
News, Analysis and Opinion
Morganable should clearly distinguish straight news from analysis, opinion, commentary, sponsored content and other non-news formats.
Corrections and Updates
Material factual errors should be corrected promptly and transparently in line with Morganable’s Corrections Policy.
AI-Assisted Workflows
AI tools may support research, drafting, editing or workflow organisation, but editorial judgement, verification and final accountability remain with Morganable’s human editorial leadership.
Accountability
