I’m staying in the race,’ declares Biden in a letter sent to the Democrats in the US House of Representatives on Friday, the 5th of July,2024.
Today, the president has said he will stay put and remain in the race despite his much-anticipated “step down” chant.
He has also mocked former President and rival Donald Trump for his gaffe, saying that George Washington’s army overcame the British by taking over airports.
President Joe Biden of the United States of America said on Friday at a campaign rally in one of the swing areas of Wisconsin that he is not stepping aside from the 2024 Presidential Race.
The President professed confidence that he would defeat Former President Donald Trump despite his erroneous and abysmal performance at the Presidential debate last week.

He said, “You probably heard I had a little debate last week. I wouldn’t know if it is my best performance, but ever since then, there’s been a lot of speculation:
“What’s Joe going to do? Is he going to stay in the race? Is he going to drop out? What’s he going to do?”
Here’s my answer: “I am running and gonna win again.”
Biden declared in front of an enthusiastic crowd of supporters in Madison, the state capital of Wisconsin.
President Joe Biden disclosed that people are trying to talk him out of the race.
“Let me say it as clearly as possible: I’m staying in the race!” Biden said. “I’ll beat Donald Trump.”
Remember, Biden initially made a blunder by saying that he would defeat Trump again in 2020, then eventually realized it and said: “We’re going to do it again in 2024.”
“I learned long ago when you get knocked down, you get back up,”
He said he wouldn’t let a 90-minute debate overshadow his achievements since he assumed office as the President in 2020.
As Biden battles various calls to step aside from the 2024 Presidential Race, his allies have called on his need to intensify his interest in the electioneering campaign to assure his supporters that he has what it takes to lead the states for the second time.
Speaking, it appeared that Biden ridiculed Trump for his verbal failings, saying that Trump made a mistake by saying George Washington’s army defeated the British because they took over the airport.
“They talk about me misspeaking,” Biden said. “Airports and the British in 1776. It’s true, he is a stable genius.”
Biden also confronted those speaking against his age, which polling suggests is a major concern for electorates as he seeks re-election.
“You think I’m too old to restore Roe v. Wade to all the land? Do you think I’m too old to ban assault weapons again? To protect Social Security and Medicare?”
He asked the supporters, who, in response, answered by saying, “No!”
He asked his last question: “You think I’m too old to beat Donald Trump?” The audience shouted in response, “No” again.
Biden stressed: “I can hardly wait.”
Joe Biden is 81 years old, and if re-elected, he will finish his second term at 86, while Trump, who is 78, is almost as old as Biden.
So many voters have already expressed concerns about Biden’s age, which might speak against him.
The outcome of a vote conducted by the New York Times indicated that 74% of the voters viewed Biden as too old for re-election.
While addressing his supporters, President Biden criticized Trump for repeating the same lines during the debate during his previous campaign.
He alleged that the former President “has the morals of an alley cat” and called him a “one-man crime wave.”
The Biden-Harris campaign team tasked the supporters to throw their weight behind the President.
While still in Madison, President Joe Biden granted ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos an interview that is expected to be aired by 8 p.m. ET on Friday.
After the interview, Biden said he was “completely ruling that out” when asked if he would step aside.
He said he was “positive” and could serve another four years.
The president also said he was “looking forward now, absolutely” to debating Trump again.
The second phase of the Presidential debate is scheduled to be held in September.
It should be noted that Biden held a rally in Raleigh, N.C., the day after the June 27 debate, where an energetic audience of supporters applauded the President.
Biden spoke more interestingly and enthusiastically, saying, “I know I’m not a young man. I don’t walk as easily as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know — I know how to tell the truth!”
Later this month, the president, Vice President Kamala Harris, and his campaign team have plans to travel and canvass support across the country.
Meanwhile, President Biden is scheduled to speak at the NAACP and UnidosUS conferences in Las Vegas from July 15 to 18, when the Republican National Convention takes place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The campaign memo reads that Vice President Kamala Harris will speak on Saturday at the 30th ESSENCE Festival of Culture in New Orleans.
Among their campaign promises is investing in a $50 million paid media blitz through the month, specifically targeting large audiences like those for the RNC and the 2024 Olympic Games, which begin on July 26.
