• Tinubu Urges Plateau State Governor to Include Hausa/Fulani in his Cabinet, and also Recognize Them as Indigenes

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on political leaders in Plateau State to embrace inclusive governance by appointing members of the Hausa/Fulani community to key positions in the state government and recognizing them as indigenes of the state.

The President made the remarks during a high-level dialogue meeting with political, traditional, and religious leaders at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Addressing participants at the meeting, Tinubu stressed that sustainable peace and development in Plateau State require fairness, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all communities.

  • Goldman Sachs Lowers 2027 Brent Oil Price Forecast Over Supply Growth, Demand Risks

Goldman Sachs has reduced its forecast for Brent crude oil prices in 2027, citing expectations of increased global oil supply and growing concerns over weaker demand.

The investment bank said rising production from major oil-producing countries, coupled with uncertainties surrounding global economic growth, could place downward pressure on oil prices in the coming years.

Analysts noted that slower economic activity in key markets and the increasing adoption of alternative energy sources may affect long-term demand for crude oil.

The revised outlook comes as energy markets continue to monitor geopolitical developments, production policies by major exporters, and changing consumption patterns worldwide.

Silent Ways Your Body Warns You Before Burnout

Silent Ways Your Body Warns You Before Burnout. Burnout doesn’t always scream; sometimes it’s just a quiet, persistent exhaustion that a weekend of sleep won’t fix.

Lagos —

The silent signs your body gives before burnout often go unnoticed until they start interfering with your everyday life in obvious ways.

Burnout does not just happen overnight. It creeps in quietly, often hiding behind ‘’ I ‘m just tired’’ or ‘’I have a lot to do’. At first, you push through and tell yourself it will pass.

Meanwhile, your body has already started sending signals-subtle ones that are easy to brush aside until they get louder.

Silent Ways Your Body Warns You Before Burnout

If you pay attention yow will notice your body speaks long before it breaks. The hard part is listening early enough.

When these early signs are ignored, they slowly build into something heavier.

One of the first things you might notice is constant tiredness, even after rest. You sleep through the night but still wake up feeling drained.

It is easy to blame your schedule, but this kind of fatigue runs deeper. It is not just physical-it is emotional and mental too.

When sleep no longer refreshes you, your body is asking for more than rest.

Your sleep itself may also start to change. Some nights, you struggle to fall asleep. Other nights, you wake up in the middle of the night with your mind racing.

Even when you do sleep, it does not feel restful. This usually happens because your body is stuck in a stress mode, unable to fully relax.

You may begin to experience frequent headaches or body aches without any clear cause. Painkiller might help for a while, but the discomfort keeps coming back.

Overtime stress builds tension in your body, and it starts to show up physically.

Changes in appetite can also happen. You might find yourself eating more for comfort, or the opposite-you lose interest in food entirely.

Silent Ways Your Body Warns You Before Burnout

Either way, it is your body trying to cope with imbalance. You focus may not be as sharp as it used to be. Tasks that were once simple start to feel difficult.

You read something and realize you did not take it in. You forget small things or struggle to stay present in conversations.  That mental fog is your brain asking for a pause.

Irritability can creep in too. Little things begin to get under your skin. You might snap at people and later wonder why. When your system is overwhelmed, patience becomes harder to hold on to.

You may also notice a drop in motivation. Things you once enjoyed no longer excite you. Work feels heavier, and even hobbies start to feel like chores. You keep giving, but your heart is not really in it.

Silent Ways Your Body Warns You Before Burnout

Getting sick more often is another sign. You catch colds easily or take longer to recover. When stress sticks around for too long, your immune system weakens, making it harder for your body to fight off illness.

You might start pulling away from people as well. Cancelling plans, avoiding important calls, and choosing to be alone can feel easier.

While we all need space sometimes, constant withdrawal can mean you are overwhelmed and trying to conserve energy.

There is also that steady feeling of pressure. Even when you are not working, your mind does not switch off. You think about everything left undone and feel guilty for resting. It becomes hard to relax without feeling like you are falling behind.

You may start to feel emotionally numb. It is not that you are overly sad or anxious-you just do not feel much at all. Things that would normally excite you or upset you barely move you.

Silent Ways Your Body Warns You Before Burnout

This emotional flatness can be your mind’s way of protecting itself from overload.

Another sign is increased self-doubt. You begin to question your abilities, even in areas where you used to feel confident. Small mistakes feel bigger than they are and you may find yourself overthinking decisions or second-guessing your choices.

Decision fatigue is another overlooked sign. Even simple choices-what to eat, what to wear, what to respond -start to feel exhausting because your mental energy is already depleted.

You may also find yourself relying more on distractions. Endless scrolling, binge- watching, or staying busy without purpose can become ways to avoid how drained you actually feel.

Noticing these signs is one thing, but doing something about them matters more. You cannot keep ignoring your body and expect it to keep up.

Start by setting boundaries. Learn to say no when you are stretched. It might feel uncomfortable but it protects your energy. Make rest a priority-not just sleep, but quiet moments and things that help you slow down.

Try to reconnect with simple things that make you feel like yourself again. A walk, music, or time with people who lift your mood can go a long way.

Talking to someone can also help. Sharing how you feel makes things lighter. It could be a friend, someone you trust, or even a professional. You do not have to carry everything on your own.

Silent Ways Your Body Warns You Before Burnout

Most importantly, pay attention to your limits. Your body is not built to run on stress all the time. When it sends signals, it is not trying to hold you back-it is trying to protect you.

Burnout does not start with a breakdown. It starts quietly, with small signs that something is not right.

When you listen early, you give yourself a chance to pause, adjust, and recover before things get worse.

Taking care of yourself is not extra- it is necessary. The sooner you respond to those signs, the easier it becomes to protect your well-being and find a better balance.
