Morganable Editorial Policy
Ethics Policy
The ethical rules that guide Morganable’s reporting, source handling, conflicts of interest, fairness, independence, accountability and newsroom conduct.
Last reviewed: 9 May 2026
Purpose
Morganable’s Ethics Policy sets out the standards expected of our newsroom, contributors, analysts, editors and publishing operations. It supports journalism that is fair, accurate, independent, transparent and worthy of reader trust.
Accuracy and Honesty
Morganable aims to avoid fabrication, plagiarism, deliberate distortion, misleading presentation, false attribution and careless handling of facts.
Fairness and Context
We aim to present relevant context, avoid unnecessary harm, seek appropriate responses where serious allegations are made and distinguish verified fact from opinion or analysis.
Editorial Independence
Editorial judgement should not be improperly controlled by advertisers, sponsors, political interests, personal relationships, commercial pressure or outside influence.
Source Responsibility
Sources should be treated honestly and responsibly. Anonymous sources should be used only where there is a strong editorial reason and appropriate editorial judgement.
Conflicts of Interest
Actual or potential conflicts should be disclosed internally and managed so they do not compromise reporting, editing, commissioning, headlines, corrections or editorial decisions.
Corrections and Accountability
When material factual errors are identified, Morganable should review and correct them in line with its Corrections Policy and editorial accountability commitments.
Professional Conduct
Morganable expects those working under its editorial brand to act with professionalism, respect, discretion and care when dealing with readers, sources, colleagues, contributors, partners and the public.
- Do not knowingly publish false or misleading information.
- Do not plagiarise or misrepresent the work of others.
- Do not accept improper inducements in exchange for favourable coverage.
- Do not conceal sponsored or paid material as independent journalism.
- Do not use Morganable’s platform to harass, intimidate or unfairly target individuals.

Our Position
Morganable’s ethical commitment is to serve readers with journalism that is responsible, independent, properly labelled, open to correction and anchored in public trust.
