• Tinubu Urges Plateau State Governor to Include Hausa/Fulani in his Cabinet, and also Recognize Them as Indigenes

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on political leaders in Plateau State to embrace inclusive governance by appointing members of the Hausa/Fulani community to key positions in the state government and recognizing them as indigenes of the state.

The President made the remarks during a high-level dialogue meeting with political, traditional, and religious leaders at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Addressing participants at the meeting, Tinubu stressed that sustainable peace and development in Plateau State require fairness, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all communities.

  • Goldman Sachs Lowers 2027 Brent Oil Price Forecast Over Supply Growth, Demand Risks

Goldman Sachs has reduced its forecast for Brent crude oil prices in 2027, citing expectations of increased global oil supply and growing concerns over weaker demand.

The investment bank said rising production from major oil-producing countries, coupled with uncertainties surrounding global economic growth, could place downward pressure on oil prices in the coming years.

Analysts noted that slower economic activity in key markets and the increasing adoption of alternative energy sources may affect long-term demand for crude oil.

The revised outlook comes as energy markets continue to monitor geopolitical developments, production policies by major exporters, and changing consumption patterns worldwide.

The impact of fashion choices on everyday life must be considered. Fashion is such a power play!

Its Impact is felt in our daily lives, reverberating throughout. At the heart of dressing up to look good or feel good is telling our story, which reflects our personality, values, interests, and identity.

It gives us a deeper insight into how fashion can control our emotions, feelings, and general outlook.

More so, it provides insight into the impact of fashion on our general outlooks on life. Suffice it to say that fashion affects humanity emotionally, psychologically, and physically, among other things.

The feel-good factor alone affirms the critical psychosocial importance of fashion in our lives.

Let’s just say it as it is – Fashion defines us.

We often undermine the role our clothes play in our lives. This feeling evokes how we perceive ourselves and how other people perceive us.

It is essential to understand that the relationship between fashion and human behaviour is unique, and I love how the relationship is represented.

At the heart of dressing up to look or feel good is telling our story, which reflects our personality, values, interests, and identity.

From time immemorial, fashion has been the bedrock of visual representation, one that gives a narrative to individual style, which ultimately influences behaviour and changes the course of things.

Our fashion choices are significant not only to ourselves but also to other people who they may influence.

I am fascinated by individuals who possess a strong sense of style. I draw my inspiration a lot from fashion enthusiasts who genuinely stick to their identity and express their unique style in boisterous, confident, stylish, and original ways.

One thing we can collectively agree upon is whether you are a stylish person or not.

Our fashion choices can spark joy and excitement, increase confidence, and give a sense of worthiness.

Our fashion choices remain significant to us and may influence others.

You need to know eight fascinating facts about how fashion choices influence everyday life.

  • Fashion gives you a form of Identity.

Fashion is an identity that is strictly for you. It visually represents how you perceive yourself and want to be perceived.

It describes your character and, more often than not, your social status. Research has introduced a term called ‘’enclothed cognitive, ” which describes the influence our clothes have on us to give us a certain kind of identity.

  • Increased confidence and great Self-Esteem

Dressing good boosts your confidence level and improves your self-esteem considerably.

Have you ever stood in front of your mirror to check yourself out with so much admiration and love for not just yourself but for the clothes that make you feel instantly gorgeous, comfortable, consequential, or confident?

Yes!

For instance, you might be dressed up nicely in a sparkly dress or LBD, looking feminine and graceful, or choose to be decked out in a pair of power suits, looking dapper, which makes you feel powerful and authoritative.

Whichever one it is, you will agree with me that dressing up well can increase confidence.

The beautiful symphony that controls our feelings, enthusiasm for life, and self-esteem, amongst other unique feelings, sparks joy!

I cannot overemphasis how our choices can spark joy all around

There’s this feeling that our fashion choices evoke that makes you want to go for Retail therapy or grab all your fashionable pieces and book a flight to your favourite holiday destination, posing in front of the camera with your fashionable pieces, beaming with excitement and great joy.

  • It Gives Room for Creativity

It is said that dressing up increases creative thinking. I believe that when you dress well, you most likely feel good.

Such a boost in creativity boosts your confidence and increases your competency to unlock more creative ideas.

  • It enhances Interpersonal Relationships.

Our fashion choices play a pivotal role in establishing interpersonal relationships.

They communicate our personality and taste and often give a first impression that lasts.

We command respect when we dress well and confidently, especially professionally.

  • It Caters to our Mental Health and Wellness

Fashion choices are essential in establishing certain moods that can positively affect our mental health.

It has been established that colours puts liveliness into our lives because according to colour psychology, colours can influence behaviour, mood, and emotions.

For instance, certain colours evoke a state of happiness, sadness, vibrancy, or enthusiasm in life.

All these colours have some sort of energy in each personality to varying degrees.

We must also consider the degree at which retail therapy can spark the right mood to give a level of desired freedom and evoke joy.

It is called retail therapy for a reason because it is therapeutic and helps our mental state to provide ease.

  • It tells a beautiful narrative about our traditional and contemporary styles.

The clothes we wear tell a beautiful narrative  about the way tradition and contemporary style can co-exist nicely.

Our clothing choice reflects our rich cultural background beyond aesthetics and how tradition and modernity can impact personal interests and aspirations.

  • It puts a spin on the lives of Fashionistas for good.

Good fashion can change your life for the better and make you have a better feel of life.

Your fashion choices can influence you to embrace a new reality of style, which ultimately helps in decision-making and physical performance.
