Some questions demand more time, evidence and methodological discipline than daily journalism can reasonably provide. Morganable Research Institute exists to create that additional institutional capacity.
Its work can draw on documentary research, quantitative evidence, qualitative enquiry, historical reconstruction, comparative analysis and institutional investigation according to the problem being studied.
Research is not intended to begin with a preferred conclusion and search for supporting evidence. The objective is to ask significant questions, identify what evidence can establish, make uncertainty visible and preserve the reasoning through which conclusions are reached.
