• Tinubu Urges Plateau State Governor to Include Hausa/Fulani in his Cabinet, and also Recognize Them as Indigenes

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on political leaders in Plateau State to embrace inclusive governance by appointing members of the Hausa/Fulani community to key positions in the state government and recognizing them as indigenes of the state.

The President made the remarks during a high-level dialogue meeting with political, traditional, and religious leaders at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Addressing participants at the meeting, Tinubu stressed that sustainable peace and development in Plateau State require fairness, inclusion, and equal opportunities for all communities.

“Include Hausa/Fulani in your cabinet. They are among Plateau

  • Goldman Sachs Lowers 2027 Brent Oil Price Forecast Over Supply Growth, Demand Risks

Goldman Sachs has reduced its forecast for Brent crude oil prices in 2027, citing expectations of increased global oil supply and growing concerns over weaker demand.

The investment bank said rising production from major oil-producing countries, coupled with uncertainties surrounding global economic growth, could place downward pressure on oil prices in the coming years.

Analysts noted that slower economic activity in key markets and the increasing adoption of alternative energy sources may affect long-term demand for crude oil.

The revised outlook comes as energy markets continue to monitor geopolitical developments, production policies by major exporters, and changing consumption patterns worldwide.

Learning To In The Moment

Living in the Moment - Credit - successconsciouness

Learning to live in the moment is the most important skillset anyone could have in our contemporary times. It helps us to make peace with ourselves while enabling us to stop treating the present moment as an obstacle to overcome.

Gentlemen and ladies, it’s high time we enjoyed the magic of your moment. Be agile, my friend, be agile. Be present, my friend, be present.

Once you realize that you have enough of all that you need in you as a spirit and a human being, you are truly rich.

We often forgot how to be human. We forgot what it means to be alive, and feel alive. We forgot how to value and treasure this beautiful and precious gift that is called life.

We are so busy chasing after all sort of things, things that we believe we forgot how to enjoy and make the best of the present moment – the only moment that truly exists. ill make us happy. We keep living in a constant state of waiting – waiting for something magical to happen

Waiting for our lives to begin, to the point that we completely ignore the present moment.

Eckhart Tolle says it so beautifully in his book, The Power of Now “Most people treat the present moment as if it were an obstacle that they need to overcome”.

Since the present moment is life itself, it is an insane way to live.

We treat the present moment as an obstacle that we need to overcome, failing to realize that the present moment is our life.

This moment, this breath, this experience – this is our life . This is where our happiness lies.

This is where our peace can be found. Be at peace with yourself and the world around you.

It is important to do the things that nurture your mind, revitalize your body and rejuvenate your Soul.

Remember, consistency is the evidence of belief. Keep smiling at the person in the mirror.

Never compare yourself to anyone. God does not mass produce people. God did not create you to fit in, or to impersonate anyone.

You were created to become the best version of yourself, not someone else.

Therefore don’t waste your precious time trying to look like someone else, walk like someone else, dress like someone else, live like someone else, dream like someone else, sing like someone else, or talk like someone else.

Everyone is different and that’s okay. Everyone is a genius in his or her capacity. You can’t judge a fish by its ability or inability to fly. Neither can

you judge a bird by its ability or inability to swim.

Happy people accept who they truly are. Happy people don’t mask their true identity. Happy people feel comfortable and at home in their own skin.

Happy people embrace their imperfections than perfectly imitate what they are not meant to be. If you really want to imitate some, imitate your perceived higher version.

Don’t let anyone label you a failure just because of your inability to imitate others.

You become a failure when you fail to become the best version of yourself. Unless you are doing a disservice to yourself, stop being afraid to be yourself.

Whatever your size, colour, gender, or race, do not be afraid to embrace your true identity.  Never try to change yourself to fit into people’s subjective mould of you.

You are unique, you have a unique skill set and a unique life story. You are special to God just the way you are. God says in the Holy Writ, “whoever touches you, touches the apple of His eye.” (Zechariah 2:8).

To live in the moment, you have to :

  1. Take risks: You have to take risks in life. If you win, you can lead. if you lose, you can guide.
  2. Emphasise on Actions : Focus on the actions of people more than you focus on their words. Suffice it to say that, actions over words. Please understand that people are not what they say but what they do; so judge them not from their words but from their actions.
  1. Understand the Law of Nature : When someone hurts you, don’t feel bad because it’s a law of nature that the tree that bears the sweetest fruits gets maximum number of stones.
  2. Maximise Your Existence : Take whatever you can from your life because when life starts taking from you, it takes even your last breath.
  3. Make Lemonade Out of Your Lemon: In this world, people will always throw stones on the path of your success. It depends on what you make from them – a wall or a bridge.
  4. Understand the Significance of Challenges : Challenges are inevitable in life. What you make of your challenges determines whether it is considered a positive force or otherwise. Please understand that challenges make life interesting and overcoming them make life meaningful.
  5. Remember the Joy of Victory: Always remember that there is no joy in victory without running the risk of defeat.
  6. Embrace Challenges : A path without obstacles leads nowhere.
  7. Never to stay in your Past : Past is a nice place to visit but certainly not a good place to stay.
  8. Never Think Excessively about Yesterday: You can not have a better tomorrow if you     are thinking about yesterday all the time.
  9. Stop Living on Past Glory: If what you did yesterday still looks big to you, then you haven’t done much today.
  10. Build Your Dream : If you don’t build your dreams, someone else will hire you to build theirs.
  11. Climb Your Mountains: If you don’t climb the mountain; you can not view the plain.
  12. Use Your Brain : Don’t leave it idle – use your brain. You are not paid for having brain, you are only rewarded for using it intelligently.
  13. Use Whatever You Have : It is not what you don’t have that limits you; it is what you have but don’t know how to use.
  14. Learn from your Failures : Always learn from your failures.  What you fail to learn might teach you a lesson.
  15. Understand the Importance of Character: It is important for you to understand the importance of your character. Be a person of value . When it comes to corruption, don’t you have a price. Please note that the difference between a corrupt person and an honest person is this: The corrupt person has a price while the honest person has a value.
  16. Be Deserving of People’s Trust: If you succeed in cheating someone, don’t think that the person is a fool. Realize that the person trusted you much more than you deserved.
  17. Don’t Expect Honesty and Trust from Cheap and Untrustworthy people.  Honesty is an expensive gift; don’t expect it from cheap people.

This is a very interesting post and I want everyone to benefit.

Enjoy your day and don’t forget to live in the moment.
