Jose Mourinho ,on Tuesday, was appointed as the new manager of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club succeeding reasonably successful Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Porto,Chelsea,Real Madrid and Manchester United Manager signed a contract that will last the end of the 2022-2023 football season.
The 56 years old Portuguese said: “The quality in both the club and the academy excites me, and working with these players is what attracted me to the club.”
The Chairman of the Club, Daniel Levy asserted that : “In Jose, we have one of the most successful managers in football.”

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino guided the team to a Champions League final last season and there were expectations that the team will fight for the Premier League title this season. However, the team’s performance this season has fallen short of expectations, leading to the exit of the Argentinian. Mauricio will not be short of good offers himself , both in the UK and Europe.
