A Round Of Disgust For A Degenerating Humanity calls for the reawakening and resurgence of our social morality.

The importance of this call cannot be over-emphasised as the world continues in its downward trend of moral free-fall.

Our contemporary world deserves a round of disgust for dropping the balls when it comes to upholding social values that makes humanity counts.

Friendship, unity, respect, excellence and love are relegated to the back burner.

Our world is a now a world of sheer display of meanness .greed, corruption and antipathy.

The version of the humanity projected by our contemporary world could be likened to a mere facial expression that doesn’t reach the depth of love.

Without mollycoddling words, the world of humanity has rapidly deserted their stronghold of oneness.

It has built a burg for themselves, where love in brotherhood is the least of the block used, and in place of these, hatred in diverse dimensions whir over the sky.

We hither found our most fascinating niche in clubbing and massacring each other, all in the name of complexion.

As though we have all bite another fruit from new Eden.

Life, on daily basis, furrowed itself at those considered as inferior while the superior were celebrating their superiority by putting a price on others, sending them into another catharsis of anguish, where they would eventually curse their births.

Though, this was the zeitgeist of some centuries’ back when slave trade across the world by the Numero-Uno that preaches nothing but racism.

The course of “we are greater than them“, a great reminder of the likes of Adolf Hitler and King Leopold ll of Belgium.

Even though they have been stolen away in the covert of life, yet, there is a multitude of their breed. Even deadlier are these newer breeds than their predecessors.

This, however, has plunged the whole world into a panic for survival.

Black folks cannot live peacefully among their white counterparts while the white folks are considered as weak boned by the black folks.

A Round Of Disgust For A Degenerating Humanity

Ethiopian White against Ethiopian Black, tall against short, and blonde-haired beings against short-haired beings. What a broken world? It is a broken world indeed, despite the summits already hiked and reached by contemporary civilization.

Likewise, the religion which is supposed to serve as an asylum where love flows like a river, and where the hearts of men can connect to their portion of rest and love, is now nothing but a place where bickering of God’s accredited way becomes a cacophonous noise that shoved one into despair.

Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Judaism, in accounting for this and within their contexts, many were men that have lost their staid towards God, because they are left in the dilemma of ‘what’s right’? While some have eventually become a world problem. Alas, its innocence that’s paying forfeit of the peace.

The death of the African-American Man, George Perry Floyd Jr, of blessed memory, who died on May 25, 2020, in Minnesota, AG.

The poor man was arrested on the charge of passing a counterfeit of $20 bill at a local grocery store in Powderhorn Park Neighborhood of Minneapolis in the state of Minnesota, USA, by a gruesome White Police Officer, Derek Chauvin and his three others accomplices.

This roguish officer pressed his knee tightly on the black man, George Floyds’, as he kept pleading, squirming, struggling and crying, amidst the wriggling pains that he was going through. He called upon his mother severally, still, this vicious officers, Derek Chauvin and his colleagues didn’t mind him.

Their fiend were pleasing their minds while roughing a black man, making known that he was claustrophobic, and even though he was lamenting that “please I can’t breathe”, but still they didn’t mind him, and it was at this point when the 223 pounds (101 kg) George Floyd passed away.

What a loss? Though I am still not surprised seeing a white officer so stern like that. Was that not what he was ordered by the skewed institutional system?

Was he not trained to be fierce at the Blacks Folks?

Derek had chugged racism to stupor, his manly love towards other human has been carted away – it’s called the duty to him while to the world of oneness, it’s an emphatic murder attempt.

Now, George Floyds has gone into the land where he surely no pilgrim, handful of them that have gone in the name of racial discordance.

Filthy word. Inquisitively, who is to blame?

Is it God that made us with different complexion? Or we human who misconstrued him?

Regards to an excerpt in Peter Botha speech of 1985 “If God wanted us to be equal to the Blacks, he would have created us all of a uniform colour and intellect but he created us differently- Whites and Blacks.”

Indubitably, superiority and inferiority have gone beyond interracial discordance. Right from as far back as the classical antiquity of Greece and Rome, rape is one of the capital offence which anybody that attempted was subjected to a wide range of severe punishment, which was nothing but brutal and peculiar.

Some century after that, when the rate increases, another punishment was fashioned that was more horrific and was enforced until the 14 century when England made another harsh law that the eyes of the rapist were to be gouged out, or his testicles are severed by the rape victim herself.

All these were done to curb the spread of sexual assault, but despite the brutish nature of these laws, the rate of prevalence has always been on the increase.

This is an intrapersonal problem caused by false orientation about gender superiority. That is, the male is worthier, stronger, and more precious than the female gender.

A Round Of Disgust For A Degenerating Humanity

While examining the word spoken by some men, it’s noticeable that they are victims of false orientation.

They have considered other sex as a filthy rag, thinking they are only for dirt cleaning. Why won’t they cause harm to them?

Another breed of rape perpetrators is those under the influence of alcohol, after which their reasoning faculty has wallowed in the ocean of liquor.

By that particular time, their usual worse is to grasp spotless lad and taint it with the stigma of sexual assault.

To them, it’s pleasure, unbeknown, that they were etching sorrow on the template of other’s heart.

Many victims would live with this lifelong stigma, and many were a young promising future leader, which have lost it on this verge.

More like pandemics, the cases of rape rise daily, and no safety or refuge is presently assured.

Uwaila Vera Omozuwa, a student studying Microbiology at the University of Benin in Benin City, Nigeria, whose passion for theology, exposed her to the brutal rape and her untimely death within church premises on the 3rd of June 2020. Yes, church! You heard me right, inside a church.

Two days later, a 12-year-old was raped by a gang of good-for-nothing hoodlums and rapists in Lagos State while another 18-year-old Barakat Bello fell victim to rape and death in her residence at Akinyele, Ibadan. Let me spare you the horror of the imagination of countless of other unreported cases around the whole world.

The high prevalence of rape in the United States of America, Brazil, Sudan, Indian, South Africa and among others, are worth mentioning. Still, it’s opined that the last band of the cases are reported because of the fear of being stigmatized. Aren’t they human? Didn’t they deserve justice?

Even though, life might have become as a wonky Tailor’s leg, still justice must be served to those who deserve it.

Racist must be served appropriately and lawfully to the full consequences of their actions.

Chaffs must be separated from the wheat and the animals from the sane human beings. A parent should teach their children and put them on the right path.

Provocative dressings should be discouraged within the bounds of respect for the right to freedom of individual lady.

Feminism must be guarded with justice. Let the world love each other without reason, and together we shall crumble racism into smithereens. Unto it, we shall build a happy world, where love would ebb all over.
