• Rev. Ezekiel Dachamo Alleges Boko Haram Infiltrated Nigerian Military, Links Claim to U.S. Troop Withdrawal

JOS, Nigeria — The Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Rev. Ezekiel Dachamo, has alleged that members of the Boko Haram insurgent group have occupied strategic positions within the Nigerian Armed Forces.

The cleric made the remarks in a video circulated on his social media page, where he discussed the security situation in Nigeria and the recurring violence in parts of the country.

According to Rev. Dachamo, the alleged infiltration of the military was the reason United States military personnel were withdrawn from Nigeria after, he claimed, they received security reports from troops deployed to assess the security situation.

He further alleged that the U.S. personnel had been sent in connection with concerns over what he described as the killing of Christian communities in parts of the country.

Rev. Dachamo did not provide evidence to substantiate his claims during the video.

As of the time of filing this report, the Nigerian Armed Forces, the Federal Government of Nigeria, and the United States Government had not publicly confirmed Rev. Dachamo

  • Nigel Farage’s Resignation : Political Money, Broken Rules and the Africa Diaspora Question

Nigel Farage’s resignation as MP for Clacton has turned a parliamentary standards controversy into a wider test of political money, democratic accountability and migration politics. With major parties refusing to contest the by-election, the episode raises urgent questions about whether electoral theatre can be used to weaken parliamentary scrutiny — and what that means for African diasporas in Britain, Ireland and at home....

  • Teaching Al-Musannaf Requires Rare Scholarly Expertise Beyond the Reach of Many Nigerian Scholars

Renowned Islamic scholar and founder of Darul Hadith Salafiyya, Zaria, Sheikh Muhammad Auwal Adam (Albani Zaria), has stated that teaching Kitabul Al-Musannaf requires an exceptional level of scholarly competence that, according to him, many Nigerian Islamic scholars do not possess.

The late cleric made the remarks during one of his Sahih al-Bukhari lectures in 2013, while discussing contemporary religious issues and the qualifications required to teach classical Islamic texts.

According to Sheikh Albani, Al-Musannaf is among the most comprehensive works in Islamic scholarship and demands mastery of several disciplines before a scholar can competently teach its contents.

"Teaching Kitabul Al-Musannaf requires rare scholarly expertise beyond what many Nigerian scholars possess," he said.

He explained that a scholar seeking to teach the book must possess extensive knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), Hadith sciences (Mustalah al-Hadith), Islamic history (Tarikh), principles of narration, and other related Islamic sciences.

Albani argued that beyond academic qualifications, teaching the text requires years of specialization, extensive research, and a deep understanding of the differences among classical scholars and schools of thought.

According to him, many scholars lack the time, specialization, and depth of knowledge necessary to undertake such a demanding scholarly responsibility.

The respected scholar maintained that teaching advanced Islamic texts without the required expertise could lead to misunderstanding, inaccurate interpretations, and confusion among students of knowledge.

A definitive guide on how to build a capsule wardrobe provides an exciting blend of insightful glimpses into practical steps to create one.

This is a how-to practical guide to capsule wardrobe fashion.

The concept of building a capsule wardrobe has been around for a long time. However, there are misconceptions about it.

Most people believe that building a capsule wardrobe ultimately means imbibing a minimalist approach to style; this is not true.

Your capsule wardrobe embodies carefully curated fashion staples that are functional, versatile, and limitless. With a carefully curated wardrobe, you can achieve quite a lot, and yes!

The essence of setting it up is to fill your wardrobe with the right amount of essentials and functional, fashionable pieces that can be styled differently and confidently.

The approach to it is such that your wardrobe is personalised and prioritised with timeless fashionable pieces that suit your style so that you can style differently and interchangeably without having to shop occasionally.

One of the reasons why I love the idea of building a capsule wardrobe is that it fosters a sustainable lifestyle.

There’s an increasing awareness about sustainable practices, and fashion lovers are becoming more enthusiastic about this spreading movement.

There’s indeed a sense of urgency to reform fashion, encourage consumers to adopt a more sustainable style approach, and warn against over-consumption.

This simplifies life and the general outlook; it also positively impacts your style.

The essence of building a capsule wardrobe is to fill it with the right amount of essentials and classic fashionable pieces that are functional and can be styled differently and confidently.

The approach to it is such that your wardrobe is personalised and prioritised with timeless fashionable pieces which suits your style.

Interestingly, many of us have not been able to admit that we have come a long way on our style journey and that we need to step things up.

You must start by asking yourself personal questions, e.g., what can I achieve by setting up a capsule wardrobe? What are my current needs? What does setting up a capsule wardrobe take, and how does it help me improve my style?

You have set the tone for achieving more with your style by answering these questions. This will keep you grounded and reaffirm your enthusiasm.

Defining personal aesthetics is crucial in setting up a capsule wardrobe because it allows you to be objective about the things that reflect your style.

This is not a walk in the park; it takes a level of understanding and appreciation for your body to take on this idea, which will lead you to embrace the new reality of your style.

To define your aesthetic, you must understand the things that spark your interest and your choices, such as comfort, fit, and silhouette.

Think about these things and let them guide you in making decisions about your personal choice of style.

I recommend exploring as many style options as possible and choosing those that resonate with your personality.

To achieve this, please seek style inspiration. Many can meet your style needs. Harness as many leads as possible, then maximise the outcome to your ability.

Defining personal aesthetics is crucial in setting up a capsule wardrobe because it allows you to be objective about the things that reflect your style.

The Benefits of Building a Capsule Wardrobe

The benefits outweigh the disadvantages. Building a capsule wardrobe has many positive impacts because it curbs impulse buying(your shopping habits will be reduced).

It fosters a sustainable lifestyle, which helps you achieve more with your fashionable pieces—you are neither throwing away nor dashing out your clothes.

It facilitates a positive mindset to your fashion style because you have more fun styling your classics interchangeably and making the most of them.

The definitive guide below will help you to set up the capsule wardrobe of your dream, as follows:

GET ON WITH BASICS:

The first thing they say is that this is very foundational when setting up your capsule wardrobe.

They are called basics for a reason. Invest in quality, timeless wardrobe staples that will take you through every style season while maintaining a timeless appeal.

Basics like white tees, classic white shirts, and denim are foundational in building a capsule wardrobe.

FILL YOUR WARDROBE WITH FASHIONABLE PIECES THAT REFLECT YOUR PERSONAL STYLE:

Gone are the days when style used to be redundant; in this dispensation, style is limitless.

Stop playing by the books.

Fill your wardrobe with things that spark your interest; fashionable pieces that excite you are more likely to put you in the right mood.

BUY WELL AND BUY GOOD:

To set up a capsule wardrobe that has a timeless appeal, your mindset towards shopping must be to shop quality.

I love that the concept of building a capsule wardrobe syncs with sustainability.

You are not buying what you don’t need, but prioritising what is considered to be very important to you.

GET CREATIVE WITH YOUR STYLE:

We are often unable to put our fashionable pieces to good use because our approach to style lacks creativity.

I have discovered that we all have the potential to be creative, but the question is, are you willing to put in the work?

Don’t be too basic or laid-back with your outlook on your personal style and getting the most out of your fashionable pieces. Look through your wardrobe, and let it spark some interest and excitement as you seek style inspiration.

Take on this challenge and get creative with your style.

CHOOSE COMFORT:

Your style must offer comfort; when setting up your capsule wardrobe, your comfort must be a top priority.

Considering fabric, texture, length, and fit, nothing exudes more confidence than comfort.

Lean into the endless possibilities that your style can offer you.
