The United States President Donald Trump has appointed Fox News host Jeanie Pirro as a top prosecutor in Washington DC.

As reports learn, he is also in discussion to reject the US Attorney nominee, ED Martin, in favour of Jeanie Pirro, who once served as a New York prosecutor, as interim U.S. Attorney for Washington DC.

The development is as a result of the president’s proclamation in early hour of Thursday that he would no longer back the nomination of Ed Martin, who, currently, is the DC prosecutor.

“Jeanine is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York, She is in a class by herself,” posted on Truth Social on Thursday evening.

The United States’ president boasted of Pirro’s period as Westchester County District Attorney and establishing the first domestic violence unit in a prosecutor’s office, describing her as a “powerful crusader for victims of crime.”

Meanwhile, the white House has confirmed the development to be true.

“Jeanine Pirro has been a wonderful addition to The Five over the last three years and a longtime beloved host across FOX News Media who contributed greatly to our success throughout her 14-year tenure,” a FOX News Media spokesperson revealed in a statement.

“We wish her all the best in her new role in Washington.”

Since Trump came back into the White House, Pirro has vigorously thrown weight behind Trump’s administration.

According to reports from various Media outlets, the White House has not appointed anybody to replace ED Martins, but there are indications that Pirro is highly considered to be his successor.

Repeatedly, she has appeared to voice her backing for the invocation of the wartime Alien Enemies Act to quickly deport anybody caught to be alleged gang members.

Recalling her statement in March, she stated that she was “not disturbed” by migrants, including asylum seekers, being deported before they got full hearings in a court, stressing that, “The only due process I believe in is the legal way to enter this country.”

In the view of current staffers, noted that when Trump was initially playing the script of Fox News hosts to fill out his administration−Pirro now joins the list of former network personalities (23) hired by the president during his second term.

In her recent broadcast, Pirro had openly questioned why her name was not called among the names of the nominees.

“Judge Jeanine wasn’t too thrilled that she didn’t get picked because she’s been so loyal,” one network staff said.

Frankly, as the staffers noted, “her loyalty to Trump has been unwavering” since he first entered politics as she was one of the first Fox News hosts who openly embraced his 2016 presidential run.

In addition, as Pirro tends to be in a o0verly good mood wherever she is behind the scene, sources have disclosed that the now-former Fox News host appeared to be “in a great mood” in the last 48 hours.

Apparently, while Pirro hosted The Five on Wednesday, she was not present for Thursday’s live broadcast and was stood-in by Fox News commentator Jonny Joey Jones.

Meanwhile, various former network staffers attempted to weigh in on the Trump’s appointment of the longtime pro-Trump Fox Host as a US attorney for the District of Columbia.

“What a god-d*mned joke,” one former Fox producer texted immediately after Pirro’s appointment was announced.

Another former Fox News producer jestingly was amazed at why many network personalities were enthusiastically joining Trump administration rather than staying put with the conservative cable mogul.

“I don’t even understand why any of the Fox Newsers that have accepted jobs in the administration would even want them! Don’t they realize they have it made already?” the former staffer snared.

“Grifting is the easiest job in the world, and being DC attorney or Def Sec is actually hard!”

“But yeah, Jeanine’s super qualified,” they added. “She’ll do great.”

Jeanie Pirro was one of the top Fox talents who “endorsed at times this false notion

of a stolen election,” media executive Rupert Murdoch stated amidst a defamation case from Dominion−Voting Systems against the news channel, which was eventually settled.

Pirro’s producer has reportedly warned network executives, one of the former prosecutor’s elections−time segments was “rife with conspiracy theories and is yet another example why this woman should never be on live television.”

Prior to the January 6 attack, Pirro compared moves to truncate the certification of the 2020 election to the American Revolutionary War, doubting if there was anybody in Congress “willing to battle for the America that those soldiers fought for, the one that you and I believe in.”

She eventually condemned the invasion and attack on the Capitol.

Earlier on Thursday, Trump said he would like to see Martin get Nominated, but withdrew his nomination as Republican senators like North Carolina’s Thom Tillis proclaimed that they would support the conservative attorney.

“To me, it was disappointing. I’ll be honest. I have to be straight. I was disappointed, a lot of people were disappointed, but that’s the way it works sometimes,” Trump said.

Ed Martin reportedly lost Trump’s supports over his failure to authentically reveal appearances on Russian state media and for his position on the 6th January, 2021, invasion and attack at the U.S. Capitol, which includes ordering the axing of lawyers who brought January ^ charges and bidding for reduced sentences for the convicted rioters.

Martin, known as a conservative attorney  who supported Trump’s Stop the Steal movement, insincerely stating that the 2020 election was hijacked, was also not also absent on the larger Capitol grounds during the rioting.

During Martin’s short-lived stint as interim U.S. attorney, he threatened to investigate Democrats, academic institutions, and some critics of billionaire and president Trump’s adviser and supporter, Elon Musk.
